Since my bone scan showed no activity, except in my right shoulder, where there is OA, my rheumatologist is of the opinion that my achilles heel pain and swelling and my rib pain at night is NOT related to the AS and I should see my PCP.

I had my disability hearing and because of the notes this rheumy has made in my files and the idiot doctor at the hearing, my lawyer is going to have to come up with a seriously awesome brief for me to get SSI. I just want to cry. 2 weeks ago everything seemed to be falling into place; today everything sees to be falling apart.

so sorry heart

had a rheumy that i felt was spending more time trying to prove that i just had OA in my SI joint and a little bit of tendonitis elsewhere. wasn't helping me. wouldn't prescribe drugs. etc. tried for 2 years to work with him. but in the end, moving on was the best decision.

not that that will help short term. but maybe finding another rheumatologist will help longterm.

i know how frustrating all of this can be. hugss

Thanks, Lon. I'm taking the night off and watch some TV. I'll ask the Holy spirit to guide me for the next step.
