If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Hello Kick As'ers. Hope everyone is having a good day. I have had a few requests to post some pic's of my year in a native culture (teaching grades 1-3 in a remote fly in community). Lots of sand.... LOTS of it.

Many thoughts for everyone this week as we all go against our good times and struggles.

Hey Sam - thanks for posting pics - I looked up Lake Tadoule on Google Earth when you posted a while ago - it sure looks like it's a long way away from the Big Smoke - BTW - you have a La Trobe Uni sweat on - that's not far from where I live! Stay warm.....

Fantastic pictures Sammie, thanks for posting! You were not kidding about the sand up there, that surprised me. Wow, Tadoule is way up there... I have never been so far north, it must be an incredible experience for you. Love the pics, it was so good to see you again! Hugs! mig

Thanks for sharing pics Sammie
Very scenic area, even if a lot of sand.

Hello inkyfingers,
I went to teachers college in La Trobe! LOVED my year is Aussie land and would love to do it again. Made some terrific mates, and still keep in touch wtih them. Traveled around the island as much as I could....
Warm day today, but the wind shows that snow is on it's way.

Hello Mig and Tim,
It's been wonderful so far! As long as the AS and Fibro monsters stay away I will be good for awhile... We are lacking supply teachers so I am keeping my good fight.

Oh yes, without supply teachers you are quite on your own - so I hope you can keep up the good fight and that those 2 monsters stay out of your way! At least you have a net connection up there eh?
