Snow removal is my new exercise, nice coating of ice under the snow. Pushing and pulling - 25-30 minutes a day 2 times a day.
had to drop to one knee this morning, stinking back spasm. but got right back to it. winter wool dress pants work so well for me.

What a wonderful world and just a blessing for me to be up and around..

today's run 3.51 miles 34 minutes. I ran on the elliptical today (boring) because of the high winds today. When I came out of the gym the wind was not blowing that hard anymore. I could have run outside.

That will burn a lot of calories. It is a hard exercise.

apparently the last few days going back and forth to and from my car in the parking lot 1/4 mile away (at work) is my new exercise!

monday: 1/2 mile
tuesday: 3/4 mile
wednesday: 1 mile
thursday: 1 mile

total time: 60 minutes

Yesterday I walked 2miles in about 45 minutes.
Today I swam 1,000 yds in 27 minutes.

The coolest thing - on Wednesday a member of my online grief group came to visit for two days and now my best friend is here for a week. Then my sister and her hubby are coming for Christmas week, and in January my other sister is coming for a week. smile

Just got back from my walk - 2.5 miles in 40 minutes.

It's been ages since I've been able to get out walking - snow, wind, rain - but today was glorious.
