yesterday, walked 1 mile, 20 minutes.

got home from doctors / errands just in time to get a quick walk in before dark.

yesterday was our first day of real snow; ground covered with about an inch of the white stuff. roads were a bit slick, but snow tires put on yesterday morning help a lot. windshield kept getting iced up, that was the trickiest part of the drive.

Did 2050 metres in the pool today. On Wednesday I did 1750 meters in the pool. A few brisk winter walks here in Dublin. Its good for me and I have had bad experiences of taxis around here in the past.

Happy New Year one and all!!!!!

6 inches of snow..
back is very sore and my kness are burning - but I did it

I went to the church to move snow, but it was really blowing hard, so I will just get up early in the morning and do more. It is such a blessing for me to be able to still use the big shovel, and i did get on the floor with Emilee, she loves to crawl over and knock down the blocks I have stacked!!
then we both laugh.

soft tissue injections at C-1, for headache.....
another brain study - night time still working..

hi lon,

was that lidocaine / triggerpoint injections? or cortisone / joint injections?

either way, hope they help. back in 2009, i had lidocaine triggperpoint injections in the back of my head (occipital area) to stop the headaches from the head muscle spasms, worked like a charm smile hoping the same for you.

good luck! :holly2:

christmas eve walk with hubby, 1.5 miles, 30 minutes.

it was back up to 45 degrees today, nice and warm. a dreary misty day all day, but warm, so who cares, the sun will be back in a few days. then it will turn very cold and more snow. it snowed here a few days ago and for two days we had everything white and snow covered, but then yesterday and today it was so warm, all the snow is gone again, but that's ok, it'll be back before we know it, and then to stay for the next few months, so not rushing anything.

on our walk, a new little dog and a bigger old yellow lab, we had never seen before, were out in a yard (they just moved in a few months ago). the little one ran to greet us. a car was coming and we were on the other side of the road. i stepped into the road and put out my hand for the car to stop, but they didn't even slow down, just moved over to the other side, even closer to the little dog. i was so nervous, but he didn't enter the road til after the car passed. then kept following us and jumping up to greet us. he was so friendly, i could've taken him home. anyway, we finally had to go up to the house and have his owners let him back in so he wouldn't end up hit by a car. we emphasized to the owner how he was almost hit; the owner thanked up, but didn't seem particularly alarmed. i hope they get one of the invisible fences soon. he was way to cute for anything bad to happen to him. what a cutie, so very friendly.

Walked 1.5 total of the lower Eagle's Tail today. It's a sunny 47F day with no wind. It took about 45 minutes, because I'm just now getting my hiking legs back. We turned around when my right pinky toe started to go numb. I'm dreaming of the Serpent's Trail for spring.

Go TEAM! clap
