Hugs to you, Lon. It was a step of faith to step away from the pulpit. But you know your influence will continue, even away from the pulpit.

Oh Lon it sounds like what our church went through over a year ago. A big split. Our pastor was forced out by the other pastor (we didn't need the second one]. The elders were all together in a big scheme to push Gary (Pastor 1) out because they thought he wasn't up to snuff. He started his own group of people called "The Gathering" and it is help every Sunday at 4:30. 70 people started coming and we all pledged to pay our tithe's and get this large bible study going. In no time it grew because everybody loves to hear Gary. We started out in someone's community center and now P.U.D. let's us use there large room for free.
It must be so hard. I have lot's of love and respect for you my dear brother. Jesus too walked away when he wasn't wanted. He will provide.

I could take you to elk any day of the week in Montana, and find elk in Idaho, but the wolves have eaten all the deer and elk in my rfavorite spots in Wyoming..
