I clicked on the first link and there was an article next to it about Female physicians suicides being high. Also female suicides being almost as common breast cancer; that was a surprise to me.

Yes - I saw that. Very sad. There has been some slight media coverage here on the plight of female physicians, family commitments and the sheer exhaustion involved. See if I can find the article.

Allegations that female GPs are deprived of contractual rights, are denied maternity support and miss out on leadership roles have prompted calls for a ‘step change’ in attitudes. What an awesome link. Looked up rheumy right off the bat. #1 rx was MTX. Not a big surprise.

Seeing the drugs that the rheumies around here prescribe the most, makes me really see how many more RA patients there are. Is that because RA is a lot more common? or because RA is easier to recognize and so doctors are more willing to treat it? Those are rhetorical questions.
