Thank u! I seem to do really well with a variety of radishes and greens and cooked broccoli. I found the core of zucchini to be starchy. I'll def check into diluting the iodine... Thanks!

Is spirulina ok?

I had a look on my iodine bottle at home.. When John said to dilute the iodine I think he meant elemental iodine content at around 0.5%.. the reason I mention this is that the povidone iodine concentration on the bottle I used is much higher, but the elemental iodine was at ~0.75%

I have the provolone iodine... The first aid kind. So how do I dilute this?

John uses alcohol to dilute it (you could use rubbing alcohol or strong whisky I reckon). I find it works ok diluted with a bit of water but I would guess water will weaken its strength more.

Looking at a bottle online it said:
- Povidone Iodine 10% w/v
- This is equivalent to 1% w/v Available Iodine (elemental iodine)

So the above strength is OK for use albeit a bit strong. From what John was saying you might want to dilute it to half that strength to:
- Povidone Iodine 5% w/v
- This is equivalent to 0.5% w/v Available Iodine (elemental iodine)
