Walked about a mile in 40 minutes. With a friend recovering from knee surgery, the walking is good for her. This slow isn't great exercise for me, but the company is good and its good to do something nice for someone else, plus its way better to spend that 40 minutes walking slowly than to be sitting…win win

My mom-in-law has left us. After so many weeks of hospice care, we are all relieved that she's not laboring anymore. They were so wonderful with her! After almost 7 weeks in bed she didn't even get the slightest sore. Truly amazing people those hospice workers. I feel humbled by the experience.
As for my exercise, I spent too much time on my trike last week. It was so beautiful out that I rode 5 miles in one day and my spine has not been happy since. That said, I'm back up to swimming 30 minutes in a stretch and working in the yard a bit.
I'm starting to think about giving up Cymbalta slowly and just relying on PRN meds. Comments? Advice?

Good job being a good support for your friend!
This is not a dance video, but it makes my head happy to watch it go!

Erica- I am glad that your mom w2as surrounded by such loving people! I express my love and sympathy to you and your family.
I finally had a fast walk in Hawaii- then I go home tomorrow!
At the beach walking- standing for 2 hours...
I went into a depression- so I was given something other than Cymbalta. My pain increase nearly brought tears to my eyes. but I seem to kind of adjusted...
I would rather be a bit "down" but not have as much pain.
I keep the New Covenant, when I fail....I am pulled back into place by HIM.
Sorry to hear about your MIL. I feel so embarrassed, the other day when I posted what I did, somehow I misread about her heart rate and was thinking she was getting better….I don't know how I made that mistake.
Glad she had hospice; my husband's parents both did as well; I agree with you as to how wonderful that organization is.
Lon, we went to Hawaii for our honeymoon, many moons ago. I remember how lovely and peaceful it was there; we were nowhere near the big city, on Maui and the big island, small towns only. Hope you are finding it peaceful and restorative as well
Hope the depression is lifting.
Just a bit of walking around here, not keeping track as much as running errands, etc.
