It is winter in Oklahoma! It is so cold. We have predictions of light snow, freezing drizzle and freezing rain through the weekend. I hate the ice. It is so hard to drive on.

Joyce- we had a nice day, sunshine and a balmy 20*.
I brought in wood / scrapped ice and just looked around.
I will be working tomorrow.....
The streets are very slippery, partly because of the stuff they melt the ice with and then it refreezes!
I am reading job again.... interesting.

I do not enjoy or necessarily get that much out of the read- cept that I need to keep the Faith....which I intend to do....
I did find myself reading for a long time...

Yes, it helps me keep the faith. Not that it is my favorite read.
Oh, what am I saying, "I like to read it all." I am having a little more trouble staying focused than I used to. I am wondering if listening to it would be easier to focus on.
These pain meds make me rather loopy for lack of a better word.

Such beautiful words Lon and yes the great deceiver is always at our heel's but we continue to walk on in our quest to live a full life as much as we can despite this disease. I too am getting older and care less what people say when I put up my handicap parking sign and walk into a store. Nobody knows my fight like the people on here. We all find a kind word works wonders on our soul and so we pass it on. I find so much comfort in things now that I wouldn't have appreciated so much before this disease so thank you disease for that. Our struggles are not without positive insights into our future and sharing our stories and listening to others brings us some peace. Thank you Lon.

Joyce- it does work good for me to "play the book and read while listening. But the freedom to stop and think it through is so important,eh?
How is your hubby?
I have been in a lot of pain with the biggest flare of my life. Might as well get it out of the way?

Yes, as we age AND as we struggle with pain we do appreciate those many things that we far to subtle to make a difference before. After briefly stating what our gripe is, we need to go on an build a better day by making good statements and choices.
