If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Hi All I am one of the few whom chooses Chiropractic adjustments to stop my vertebra from fusing. I had a neck adjustment last week that popped loudly ( usually the sign of a successful adjustment ) But then-whhoomm-queer street. Extreme dizziness, imbalance, some nausea. I have been in an extremely aggressive flare up of late-unacceptable pain throughout entire spine , probably due to poor Xmas eating habits etc.-and real lack of energy to exercise-apt bound. Since then, neck is back out in a big way, cannot move quickly period, dizzy ,flu like nausea, can't do anything-paralyzed miserable. This is the first aggressive attack of AS on my Cervical spine-main problems usually at SI and Lumbar/thoracic. Can fusion in the neck area pinch nerves that affect extreme dizziness and gait imbalance ? Thanks Brian

I had exactly that kind of wooziness from my neck - not from chiropractic, but from having pushed it too far and too hard with exercises in an effort to try and free it up,culminating in a very noisy cracking neck and weird head sensations. Its now freer than it was (i.e. bigger range of movement), but in hindsight, I'd rather have the stiffness than the wooziness. I'm sure I managed to impinge a nerve somewhere, and because of the intermittent nature of the very worst symptoms, it makes me wonder whether I managed to snap off a tiny bit of bone spur that moves on occasions. Not sure if thats even possible, but thats what it feels like. I'm definitely being gentle on my neck now, and no way would I allow anyone to do any kind of manipulation because it feels so fragile.
I think any sudden onset dizziness like that that comes after an adjustment needs looking into. You might want to ask about getting an MRI (or even an xray if that is easier) to see if any damage has been done,or if you have developed some kind of spondylolisthesis.

Hi Brian - Yes, possible. Also see this article, but also read the comments section - http://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/837125Medscape Internal Medicine > Medicine Matters Be Gentle With Your Neck Sandra Adamson Fryhofer, MDDisclosures December 26, 2014 In *some instances the jury may be out, but no way does anyone touch my neck. Response to cemc - I have a nice wee osteophyte that jams into my oesophagus - blasted nuisance.
