Kat- I wish I could be there for a bit. I would probably have to sip a bit of the sparkley so that I could relax and enjoy

I would like that, Lon. If I get any recordings, I'll send them over. Then you could sit and listen with a bit of the sparkley.

Love,

Kat

Kat- do you find that you have more endorphins when you play, sing and perform? When I stopped the class at the end of December, I have been sick ever since.....
We have more snow and it is only 12* here. But I finally got the boiler fixed and the wood stove works great!!!

Is hubby working?

Hi Lon, well one thing's for sure...you'll never be sure! But whatever if you decide on surgery, you must go into it with positive thinking as it's not just the surgery but the rehab that takes time & commitment & did I say time..........
I'm learning to walk all over again!

Lonnie, I'm always aware of pain, but when I'm singing or otherwise performing, it goes to the back of my consciousness ... if you know what I mean.

I'm sorry you've been sick. Ontario is getting hammered with winter this year, especially where my mother lives. I'm glad you're staying warm!!

Love,

Kat

snow- speaking of learning---when did you have your surgery?
was it successful?

yes, you did mention time!

So you are saying- I must be positive that there will be some negative parts to recovery?

I think that you are tougher than I. That you are stronger and more resourceful.

Thanks for the post. I sure wish you well!

Kat- I know what you mean about putting the pain to the back of your mind. After I have worked two days, I am exhausted!

At the end of every day, I go to bed only when I am A bit past tired, so that I do not lay there and think about where I hurt!

Yes, I am warm. I will venture out more today and break some ice!

Do you have a favorite song / tune to perform?

Kat, that's the cool part of performing-that you can put the pain towards the back of the room and ignore it for a time, then put your being into the music. Once I retire and don't work nights, planning on getting back into orchestra at church. Looking forward to that.

Lon, your words are beautiful and paint a picture in my mind...We have what we have and it's our chance to make of it what we can. If on a day we don't have the strength to climb the mountain, we can fellowship in the foothills just as well. Gentle hugs on the pending surgery, whatever you decide to do will be right for you, hopefully. Peace.

rumble- well thank you.

Our middle daughter asked if we could take her two red head boys for a few weeks this summer. Her list of things for me to do with them: garden, build a raised bed for flowers, some archery, casual time in the pool just playing, camping...fire starting, making home made ice cream, planning a back yard barbecue, getting fire wood, trail hiking... just the little things that they do not do in the city..

I sure hope that you can enjoy the church orchestra soon. I am starting my Bible class soon. I am a bit excited.

agape'
Lon

Hi Lon,

No, no longer in the Pacific Northwest. My husband moved us to the dessert so I would feel better and it has worked wonders.
