I have no idea what is going on but I suddenly am packing on the weight! !My diet has been exactly the same,NSD. I was having some issues with constipation so I added in acacia fiber. It seemed to help with the constipation but I also became very gassy and had loose stools. I noticed my weight going up. I added in a probiotic 2 days ago and now my weight has gone up even more! I really dont know what to do!

maybe your bowels are better and now maybe you're absorbing your nutrients (including calories) better. this has happened to me in the past; when my bowels are really inflamed, i lose weight and when they settle, i gain weight.
or
if you are a female and are going through hormonal changes or developing metabolic syndrome (diabetes / prediabetes / high cholesterol), this will also pack on the pounds and make weight loss near impossible...this has been my case.
or if you don't think its either, see a doctor. usually weight loss is a more serious acute problem in my experience, but a doctor may be able to help you sort it out.

Are you on Prednisone? I have been on it for years but last year was the first year it started to increase my weight dramatically. I gained 25lbs. in one month and another 25 the next!
I would let your Dr. know of course. It could also be hormonal or Metabolic Syndrome.

any fluid retention / edema? in other words, water weight? if so, can be an indication of something else going on.

I was also thinking of water retention. I think a quick weight gain of consequence should mean a trip to the dr.

Water weight was also my thought. Ironically, drinking more fluid is a way of getting rid of some of the water weight. So I've read. Hubby just takes more Lasix. Unless you've got some of that around.....
DX: Psoriatic Arthritis, Osteoporosis, Psoriasis
Meds: MTX since Oct 2009, 15mg/week. Cimzia-restarted after 2 yrs away.
