Moderation of this site has gone too far.
I was here on Brians site when there were only 6 or 7 people here. I have seen this site grow into a thing to be prowd of and a place where friends could come together. Now I am just discussested in the indiscriminate deletions of something that some pompus biggot, has aginst one of my jokes. Not just one, the only one I have ever posted. Several members said they enjoyed my koke, and then some pompus a.....hole, deletes it because of a common word that was offensive to them alone. What has this place come to?????????????
Color me GONE, FROM THIS KICKASHOLE SITE.
Continue to Stay Stupid and loose more members.

You are by far not alone. I am surprised your original message has not been deleted. I left the site quite a while ago, along with other members, but still find support from the ASers I met on this site... who are not involved in the ... well, you know.

I am so sorry you feel this way. Moderating posts is so often a tough call, but with the jokes forum I think the yardstick is would the joke be okay to tell in mixed company? To your daughter? Your mother? Your grandmother? Would a newspaper, read by the general public, publish it? If not, perhaps best to post it in the men's or women's forum. I do wish you would reconsider, though!!! For the record the moderator asked for opinion before acting and I said to edit. So don't blame him.
This is a terribly abbrassive attack on those trying to run the site for his and everyones benefit, really most unfair. For the most part the mods/admins are appreciated for thier work, and once in a while someone mentions their support of the team and all their work in a post. It feels really, really awful when someone does the opposite, and it's terribly hurtful.

Sorry about the hurt feelings. I hope you reconsider. I enjoyed your joke and shared it with my very prudent mother and she injoyed it as well. Let's all remain friends. Friends have difference of opionions but allow that to happen in an effort to remain friends. There is so much to gain by you remaining and we would lose so much by your leaving. Some of my best friends do somethings that I would never do but I still enjoy doing the things we can together. Please stay. You are and shall always be considered a friend.

Thanks for that, but my sadness wasn't expressed at your post, just the way our old friend Rick has attacked us.
His post wasn't deleted as he said it was - two or three letters were bleeped in one word - did we deserve what he said? I don't think so. It makes me so sad, between us we've fixed his photo, solved his logging in problems, been his friend when he was down, searched out info of Scotch Whisky for him.......

Loz, Richard has been around for a long time, he has always been one to believe in being able to voice his opinion freely and then to have his first attempt at posting a joke in the joke forum edited over such a small word has obviously hurt his feeling..... You guys have helped him and that's what the site is for. That's what caring people do. I don't believe you guys deserved the comments that were said, not the way Richard put it but these were his feelings and he expressed them.
