The way I felt yesterday, I was doubtful if I would be able to play tonight or at all, for that matter. But I feel much better today, at least so far (keeping my fingers crossed). I'll be pitching tonight, which is not my most favorite position (espceially with balls whizzing by your body at 100+ miles an hour), but that's what they wanted me for. I'll keep everyone updated as to how things go.

Hey Johnny,

I was on a softball team at work and they wouldn't let the girls pitch for that very reason. Played short stop!! But the best part was the get together after!!!

Good luck tonight..but most of all have FUN!!

Hi Michelle

Short stop now thats funny. You must of looked like a speed bump out there. LOL I guess I should not laugh since I'm shorter than you. Heck at least you all had fun. Little things you learn on KA Take Care for now.

Lost first game 12 -8. I went 0 for 3 batting, so this was definitely not a good start.

Lost second game 17-16, though I didn't pitch the last 2 innings so I, officially, did not take the loss. I went 2 for 4 batting with a triple, a single, and 3 RBIs, so this was a definite improvement.

Stats Up to this Point:

Pitching Record: 0 and 1
Batting Average: .286
RBIs: 3

Must have felt pretty good to leg out a triple. I would need a 2 yr old playing in the out field to leg out a triple.

Keep up the good work!!!

Way to go Johnny,

I am so happy for you. I am glad that you are getting to play. Maybe one day I will be able to go back and play. You just get trucking and you will do good.

God bless,
Donna

Good luck. Keep the ball away from the fat part of the bat. (a good shortstop always helps)Don't forget the post game beers
