Nope, I quit those smelly things a long time ago:) I sure do love the desert though and I coulda been but it's been a long time since I sat in a saddle with a Marlboro hangin' from my lips. I used to ride in the evenings and watch the desert turn every color of the rainbow as the sun set. I like to visit the mountains with all the trees but I wouldn't live anywhere else but the desert. And forget ANY city!!

Great idea Paul, the last time you posted on this subject I couldn't find any thing I thought was decent to show what Spokane Washington was like. Most of the "official" sites were so much about business and advertising I was getting a little disappointed in my home town.
I must not have been the only one because in searching more I found a site for a group of attourneys who have some great pictures of our area... not the best photo quality, but a great variety of this area. InlandNorthwest click on "our city" on the left hand side. (the radio flyer is my youngests favorite place to play) A dream of a local artist, who thought that would be the ultimate toy for any child to have.
Also found another place here that I havent' been to yet.... my son saw it as I was looking area attractions up and we have a date to go there next week.... BigKittyCats

Have a great day

Pam

p.s. Thanks Ian for the tip...took me awhile but finally got it lol..... was wondering how everyone was doing that

Which rock is your cave? Seriously, it's beautiful, Pete. I love the desert.

Here's a site with a slideshow of pictures of Halifax, Nova Scotia. Take a moment to check it out if you've never been here.
I'll probably need help making it clickable.
Great idea Paul!!

Enjoy!!

Hi all,

I am originally from the Detroit area. When I got married I moved to the small town of Adrian, MI. http://www.multimag.com/city/mi/adrian/ Quite a change from the big city to a little town. What I like best about Adrian is it's history. So many older homes, it has many beautiful parks and the downtown is historic. The buildings have such great architecture. It is also home of the Croswell Opera House. The oldest continuously operated theatre in Michigan, and one of the oldest in the country, the Croswell Opera House is a Michigan Historic Site and on the National Register of Historic Places.

Hay Paul, Im from a small community by the name of Allen Texas. It has a population of about 50.000. Non the less it really isnt very interesting and is connected to Dallas in such a way that one cant tell the different. I guess some would call it a bed-room community {only one of many}. I am attaching a link for Dallas rather than Allen..........http://www.tourtexas.com/dallas/dallastour.html

Hello,

We live in a fifth wheel trailer and have been traveling the country for the last year. Our house is in Freeborn, MN which is a very small town - both population and attitude. They don't have a web page.

Currently we are in Las Vegas, NV. My husband has been unemployed for over 4 months but we expect he will finally go to work this week. No complaints though, we've had a lot of fun while he's been off.

Since we left home a year ago, we have spent time in Seattle, WA and the San Francisco Bay area of CA also.

Really great idea Paul!

It is so wonderful to see where everyone is from. I live in a suburb of Atlanta, Georgia called Alpharetta. Just 30 miles North of Downtown Atlanta. Trying to find a link for Alpharetta, but haven't found one yet. Don't know if I could put one on even if I found it.

We have lived here for 10 years. I am originally from Colorado.

Nice to see everyone!

Allison
