HI Cindy,
Just got back from the Opthamalogist....and I have Iritis on my left eye. Just got done with Episcleritis on my right eye. I thought Enbrel would help with Iritis. I guess not....I hate this pain in the eye....

Hi, Dan,

I'm still fighting iritis in the left eye. Maybe it was just a quirk that I managed to go 11 months without an iritis flare. Mine flared up around Christmas, and it is still not entirely under control. Oh, well...

I don't know anything about Episcleritis, I guess I need to do a bit more reading. I'm glad yours has cleared up. Is this something that you'll have to fight forever like the iritis?

Hugs,

Cindy

Hi Cindy,
Thanks for answering my post. No this is the first time I have had Episcleritis. I have chronic Iritis in my right eye. I have had Iritis in my left eye maybe twice. I was hoping that Enbrel would stop it completely. I guess I wished to hard. Thanks see you around.

Dan

Hi All,
1. Just got back from my rhuemy visit. I have been on Enbrel Since Nov 2003. I have increase my chest expansion 1mm. I can expand my chest 2mm since Last visit.
2. I have a 4 inch space from the butt to wall neck reach. That's a 1 1/2 decrease.
3. I was given BEXTRA and to drop the Celebrex with Enbrel shots.
So all in all it was a good visit. I am glad I am finially getting some good results in my medications. I just had to find a good Rhuemy.
The only bad deal is I have Iritis on my left eye. I have had it for one week now. My rhuemy told me that maybe BEXTRA might help the inflammation.

Just wanted to keep you all posted.

Dan

Glad to hear you are doing well and even improving. I remember when the Enbrel kicked in for me, it was great and a time I'll never forget. It was like being reborn. I pray that this lasts and lasts and lasts for you. Now go out and do something you haven't been able to for ten years just to celebrate.

Hugs,

Cindy

Hi Cindy,
I just got back from the Ophthamalogist, and he said my Iritis was real bad on my left eye. I have been dropping presidonse since last week. Drop an hour. But he said it was not working fast enough. He talked me into a shot in the corner of my eye. He said to continue the drops. (man do they burn now, with a needle hole)...I have to dialte it also and put ointment at night. I have to go back this thursday for another check up. I guess we have to suffer with Iritis for the real of our lifes. How is yours doing?..

Hi Cindy,
Now I am really scared. I went to see my Rhuematologist last week Thursday, She gave me lots of blood work. But, today I got a call from my Family doctor receiptionist. They want me to go in and see him to discuss my lab work?....Never had this happen before. Why didn't my rhuemy call me instead of my regular physician?...Do you think sometime is wrong with me?....I just hope it's not this Enbrel shots. My VA doctos always did lab work and I alway waited to see her before she discussed any lab work. Should I worry?...Man...I am going crazy....Ok. I scheduled an appointment for this thursday to see him.....I have to rush to see my Ophthamologist at 9:30 in Portmouth and then rush to Virginia Beach to see my regular doctor for the lab results. SEe you and say a little prayer for me.

Dan

Hi Dan,

I gave a call to Enliven Services today and asked about all those goodies (like travel cooler and sharp container holder). The rep told me that those supplies were in back log back then, and he will try to reorder the stuff for me.

Humm.. Another shot for my husband tonight.

Mandy.

Dan, please keep us posted. Will be interested to find out the lab results.

I've been able to view my lab results on the study....all expect the SED rate. Everything has been normal.
Cindy, have you had a chance to look at your lab work. Ask them at the next study visit.

Betty

When I ask them about labs, they just say that they are normal. There's no way they can be normal this next time. I'll keep everyone posted.
