Hi
Thank u very much maggie. I only say what i mean and feel tho.
I am sorry to hear ur mum and sis have arthritis in the back too, here i deffo see where the family history link comes in. My mother also has fusing in her sacriolic joints but has never been dx with AS. And car accidents i am so sorry to hear that too, i have never been the same since mine 2 and a half year ago, and i am very sure it aggravated the AS. I had a so called whiplash injury, and injuries to my thoracic and right shoulder of which i am left with some nerve damage in my right arm. Its my personal opinion that any such injuries like mine and urs can aggravate AS.
I totally agree that by telling others about our own experiences, can b of very much help to others. In fact i have read some posts in the pasts and have had no experience of it myself, and hoped not to, and then i have later found myself posting the same thing months later.
I hope i am making sense i think i should go now am tired and should try and get some sleep its quart to 3 in the morning and i have had no sleep yet thanks to my sciatica, and my hands feel like they are on fire from all this typing!
take care
heather
