I've been lucky when it comes to iritis/uveitis, as I've only had it a few times in the last 15 years. It sounds to me like your dilation drop is making things blurry and that will stop a short time after you discontinue the drops. The dilation drops help to keep the inflamed muscle in the eye from sticking, which is what will eventually cause vision trouble and/or blindness if left untreated. The predforte (steroid drop) helps bring down the inflammation.
