I would of course be delighted to bring 'Proper Arguments' to the thread, Sadly though I have never enjoyed medical care in either America or Canada. Thus I am not really qualified to comment. However, (Never start a sentence with a preposition!) ahh what the heck. However, I do note that whilst you ask for proper arguments you fail to bring them yourself. You make sweeping general statements about malpractice and criminal doctors, you provide neither names nor details of their alleged offences, but because these mystery felons depridations suit your standpoint you feel it is ok to use them.

Then you attach links to newspaper articles that support your point of view so they too are convenient for you. I ask though, when have proper arguments, facts and truth, and newspaper scoops ever gone hand in hand?

Again I emphasise that I am not qualified to comment on medicare in the two countries named but I have spent some years on Kickas listening to the gripes about doctors (and being castigated on occasion for trying to defend them) it is clear and obvious to me that the massive majority of complaints relate to the American system.

So, I am not convinced of the efficacy of your 'Canadian Docs are thugs, villains, potential rapists and jaywalkers' argument. They aren't, I know some of them. They are divine lovely folks. I have a newspaper article that says so!

I think your response to this post has been ill-considered, and insensitive.

I like to think though that it is misguided rather than intentional.

Thank you
