Well my friend, I know the Remicade is still working to a great extent just because of how I feel overall. However, my lumbar area on the right is now active and I can feel it alot of the time and the 3 days prior to my infusion are hellish. Thankfully, it's not the 10 days prior as it was before I switched-up my infusion schedule.
It hit me really hard this month (Feb. 5 was the last one) and I didn't feel anywhere near to 'right' until two days after. I'm never quite right for a few days after, but this time the day after was brutal. I was at work but felt completely devoid of energy.
I think I'm beginning to get a bit of peripheral involvement, especially on the ball of my foot, just under my big toe on the left foot. My fingers feel thick alot, my knees ache (but that's not necessarily AS because of all my injuries and such). I'm taking it one week at a time now and trying to be more aware.
Still, I'm so much better than I was prior to Remicade and this week I feel awesome ... for the most part. And still, anything I'm feeling is at the low burn level, rather than the maddening level I used to get. So it's still good.
Since it's been over a month since you asked, how are you doing? Still the same?
Many hugs,
