Well beloved, it has been grueling.
I have had to do some difficult things, and my weeks have been kind of long.
As I was walking down the grocery store isle buying the things for the meal tonight at church; I noticed people kind of making a wide path for me. When I limp, they seem to give me more room. Maybe it is that they are afraid I will fall over on some small child, or that I will crush them into the wall or brake one their ankles or something.
But I was mop’ng down this isle and was really feeling sorry for my own self and for Lenny mostly, since I hadn’t seen much of him since the séance. I was truly groveling in my own despair, when I saw this bright green can of Libby’s SUCCOTASH!
I commenced to be gripped by the thought “suffer’n succotash”, from the old classic black and white carton character “bugs bunny”. For you children, black and white were the two main colors of original tv,, before rocks got hard.

I seized the moment – I am making spaghetti and it behooves me to serve up succotash!
Does this not sound like just the very best dinner at church tonight.
Me, dishing up you spaghetti, gently laying the garlic break near the opening on the plate, and then with the dexterity of a calf on a crutch, garnishing your plate with a nice salad and succotash!
I am drooling all over this key board. 6:00 p.m. come quickly!
You are all welcome – 100 Flying Circle Dr., Gillette. What a great time to be alive!
The challenge at hand is far more than we can do on our own. I so appreciate the love and support and succotash recipes I get. Lenny feels a bit left out, though.

If I can help you, let me know, because I would gladly pay you on Tuesday for a hamburger today.
