It sounds wonderful...just wish we were there to eat some with you.

We have dinner every wednesday night before church too and it is a wonderful way for all of us to get together for a meal and friendship.

I dont think this is what the "true" succotash is but a few years ago when my family went to Silver Dollar City in Missouri we were walking by a huge grill and they were making what they called succotash..it was potatoes, okra, corn, peppers, onions with ham or chicken in it...we liked it so much that I make it at home alot for us.

Loved the story, hope you and the misses and Lenny are doing ok.
