hey deanne.. remember that pregnancy puts added stress on our bodies as things stretch & weight is added! esp in the pelvic area! and then it takes a bit post-pregnancy to get things 'back' to where they once were. I always figured I was in regular pregnancy pain since I was told I probaby didn't have AS.. and most other pregnant women I was around complained TONS about their pregnancy pains. I'm not a complainer & just suck it up...now realize that the AS monster was there too! looking back, all that AS pain helped me to think nothing of having natural labor & deliveries!!

I now relate that low back/SI pain of AS to a constant back labor that doesn't stop... it keeps me grumbly & pacing the floor because I can't get comfortable! good luck with the rest of your pregnancy!
