Interesting. I found this article tonight while I was searching for something totally unrelated.

I'm the 2nd youngest out of 6 (the 5th one born), but I don't have a family history of AS as far as I'm told. My younger brother might have a mild undiagnosed IBD type of problem though... not sure.

HLA-B27+, JRA diagnosis in 1981, re-diagnosed as AS in 1988. Also iritis, colitis, and psoriasis. NSD + low carb helps me. My health makes it hard for me to post in a timely way.
