Hmm... this is interesting. I'm the youngest in my line. Just myself and my sister though. (From my mom anyway---who I believe I get AS from)
Still no dx for me, but I'm 22 and I dread that I'm gettin there. Just no fusion yet.
My sis is healthy as can be. She has always been much more atheletic than me, and is considerably larger by build, not weight. I've always felt like abit of a runt next to her and my half-brother. I have always wondered if my small structure/small bones lead to worse joint pain. It's almost like my tiny ankles, etc. can't handle the pressure. Maybe my size contributed to the beginning of the AS? hmmm....
