Hi yall....we are back on dry ground...we got an 11 foot storm surge sometime in the wee morning hours, luckily, I had left the access door to the attic open, as we needed it and of course we keep and axe up there so Mike hacked a hole in the roof and we got out that way, from there we could see many others in our community up on their roofs as well. The water level went down to about 6 feet or so the next day and we left by boat about 6pm last night, needless to say, the house is a total loss.
