Hi Megan,

My heart goes out to you and your family... I know just how bad this can be too... my grand daughter was hit by a van while riding her bike... Was in a coma for over 3 months but she is doing better then we ever thought possible... but the reason for saying that was there is a website out there that can help you keep everyone in your family up to date about your Father... it is called Caring Bridge (the hospital told us about it)... you can go set up a site there for your father (you or someone else in your family do all the up dates)so the rest of your family and friends can see what is going on from day to day.... you post what you want folks to know... They in return can leave notes there for your Father and other family members... We did this when my Megan was in the hospital... her friends at school wanted to know what was going on.... I would post daily updates... you just let your family and friends know what the account name is for your father. We did CaringBridge.org/MeganOhio so that way anyone that knows what the site name is can go and see what you have posted anytime of the day or night. It helped so much... we were able to keep everyone informed without making tons of phone calls a day. You can post it here if you would like folks here can check to see how things are going for you. Just a thought for you if you are interested!!!! The site is free at least it was when we used it in 2004 and again just about 6 months ago for another family friend. They do take donations from anyone. I just used the site a few times... I don't know anyone at the site or have any other reason for telling you this except it was really great to use.

You and your family are in my prayers!!!!
