My iritis always presents itself in one eye. My left also. I've had it 3 times. I'm also B27+.
My opthalmologist told me that the signature of B27+ individuals is iritis showing up in one eye. He was knowledgable enough to give me my "AS diagnosis" my first visit to him with my first iritis! When he looked into my eye and saw the white blood cells in there, he sat back in his chair, and asked me if I had lower back or neck pain. I couldn't believe my ears when he elaborated more, and bet me the cost of the visit that I was HLA-B27+. That was the beginning of my wild trip into the AS world.
