Hi Jan yes Ive had iritis more times than I can remember and in both eyes at the same time it does affect both eyes but usualy shows worse in one. when its in both at the same time its agony and I usualy end up with injections to control it.Im b27 +. And I would suggest that just because people havent had it dosent mean it dosent happen all AS patients can present different.I get a bit annoyed at people who are so inclined to slag off every doctor for what they say. Yes they are not always right Im the first to admit that and they make mistakes. But I would point out that so do patients.I would agree that we do have a good knowledge of our AS and the symptons but we dont know every thing like some seem to think. Im sorry to go on but it really annoys me how some always seem to think they know better than the medical profession and slag it off. If thats the case why do we need Doctors.
