Susie, you can always ask the radiology dept. But the rheumy 'should' be knowing, since he would be ordering up the investigation. Know that unlikely the hospital will have the Muti Positional Upright MRI as very few of those around at the moment - fairly new. In fact there is not a single uMRI in the whole of France! Eye opener - but it is mega expensive. But they should have available the Saggital STIR process/equipment.
