I'm guessing the other bacteria you referred to would be Yersinia enterocolitica. This bacteria can cause diarrhoea and has be implicated in cases of Reactive Arthritis (B27 related).
My feeling is that Yersinia infections are much much rarer than Salmonella or Campylobacter species but you could get regional variations in incidence. I've only seen one small outbreak when an Airforce crew had a big party with a pig on the spit - the pig wasn't cooked enough --> infectious outbreak.
By the way, the only other Yersinia species, is Yersinia pestis, the causative bacteria for the Black Death plague.
