If you do have glaucoma or you suspect that this pressure has been around for a while, you will need certain test done especially a vision field test. This will determine exactly what damage has occurred due to pressure on the optic nerve. You yourself may not recognize the loss in vision because it occurs in such a way that you will begin to compensate for the loss of vision.
