We should be ok where we are on the island only storm water drains flood oh and my back yard and lower level of the house but just rain water not river floods but isolated over here. I worry about my daughter even though I know the people she is with are reasponsible and trustworthy but still worry. Not sure when she will get home she has been there 2 days already.
I got the last 2 bottles of 3l milk at the shop and the last 4 loaves of bread. Got some tinned soup and milk powder also. Should be ok here for about a week but no idea how long untill suplies will come in. Some dairy farms are letting their milk out as trucks can't come to collect it.
Death toll is now at 10 with 60 missing and grave fears for 15 more. 75% of QLD is classified disaster zones. And QLD is a huge state.
Not sure how long credit will last on wireless all landline phones and internet our out on the Island but will update when I can.
How are you going now? Hopefully 2011 is a happier year for you.
