The way the pain doc explained (lets see if I can relate it correctly), in 6 months, the nerves have begun to regenerate, but toasting them again is going to leave scar tissue in the area that will make it more difficult to grow back THIS time. I SHOULD get longer relief this time. The usual pain over the SIJ had returned a month ago, but was tolerable with my narcotics. But as time went on, I had more pain in right buttock, right hip, right groin. A little in left groin.

Today, I'm still of the opinion that if I had to do it again, I'd still go with the bilateral. Ibuprofen around the clock right now, 2mg zanaflex about 4 hrs ago (saving the full 4mg for night time), icing SIJ area 3-4 times a day. Not sure how bad things would be without that Medrol....eeek. And/or without that Toradol...double eeek. Slept funny last night (didn't sleep well at all) and had a crick in my shoulder that went all the way down my arm. Fortunately, that zanaflex helped it.

Going to go out for dinner in a bit...will find soft seats..LOL.
