Is your eye highly sensitive to light, or changes in light? Is it red and does it feel like there's something in there? Does looking at the monitor create a knife-like pain such as John described above?
Regardless, if you suspect something like anterior uveitis, get in to an eye doctor quickly and/or get a referral to an ophthalmologist ASAP. This isn't something to wait around on as untreated uveitis can be very bad.
I'm not trying to frighten you, just urging you to act on this instead of waiting for answers from us. Please do get an appointment ASAP.
