Don't wait til friday, get to the ophthalmologist ASAP. Treat it as the emergency that it is. If its uveitis, you'll need steroid eye drops now, not in a few days.
I've only had dry eyes, that I know of. When my eyes started bothering me, I went to a ophthalmologist just to have it checked out, better safe than sorry. Now that I know this level of pain is dry eyes (which I only get when I flare), I know its not the more serious uveitis.
My stepfather with crohn's gets the uveitis. He uses the steroid eye drops.
Best to catch it and treat it early!
