For me, it would usually take at least two weeks, sometimes three or even into the fourth. Sometimes it was faster, but not very often.

As for your earlier post about your doctor taking you off enbrel because he was concerned it was contributing to your iritis, that sounds about right to me. During the years I was on enbrel, I felt great, but I did still have VERY frequent bouts of iritis. When I mentioned this to a new rheumatologist I started seeing, he said he was not surprised and that there had been some links established showing enbrel contributing to increased iritis attacks. Since I've switched to remicade, my iritis incidents have decreased dramatically.
