Oh Elmer,
My heart goes out to you and your family. I watched all of this with my dad when he was battling lung cancer. Be kind to yourself and take care so you don't flare. My prayers are with you day and night. Beautiful scripture you put up. There are three ways God provides for our suffering.
He will miraculously heal us.
He will carry us through it or
He will carry us up to him
We win, all the way. We will be changed and have new bodies. Hang in there my friend.
