Hi friends. I'm looking for some info, if anyone has any experience with this. I had an endoscopy(looking at the esophagus and stomach with a camera)July 31st. Just found out today I have a hyperplastic polyp. It's bleeding and causing iron deficiency anemia. The gastro is speaking of pulling me off Celebrex and perhaps Humira. Not good. Has anyone else ever had a bleeding stomach polyp? He tried to remove it, but he said I wasn't doing well under anesthesia. They did a general for it. I've had quite a few endoscopys to balloon my esophagus, that were not done under a general anesthesia. This particular one was looking for bleeding. Sorry, I ramble.. But has anyone else ever had a bleeding stomach polyp, and how was it treated? Thanks.
