Not only is there not a lot of information on AS - - you really have to hunt it down - - but so much of the information is misinformation - - such as AS is a man's disease. That notion makes for a difficult DX for most women, as we can go years with all the pain from the inflammatory process yet with no radiological changes. I was fortunate, I guess, in that I was DXed with RA about 25 years ago so at least my pain was taken seriously and not dismissed as so often happens. Still have a dual DX, helpful in talking the insurance company into allowing the pricey meds I'm on You'll find lots of information right here, post any question and someone here is bound to be able to answer it.
