Although in the last eight months i have recovered most of the range "lost" by my right knee in the previous twenty years, i am hungry for as much movement as i can acquire. Same goes for my neck which seemed worse after stopping meds, but really it was just that i noticed it more...
What i need is exercises, techniques and/or philosophies that will extend the existing range, limited by repeated, severe inflammations from Reactive Arthritis, and get it back close to the original.
Should i heat with infra-red, then exercise, or do stretches and exercises then have a massage?
Are there any special supplements for stiffness (as opposed to painful inflammation) and range?
Should i concentrate on lymph stimulation in the neck or blood circulation?
Any ideas?
All questions to ask a good physio (or maybe an "exercise physiologist"..........).
I can now squat again and and am steadily regaining the bilateral elements that were lacking (right knee, right shoulder) so feel much better than i did four years ago.
