If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Arjan, I don't agree. The gut flora is very diverse and all bacteria have there own specialities and substrates they most like to grow on. The ones that feast on fiber don't care much for starch. And if they can feed on it they won't get it cause other bacteria are way better in getting it. So for those bacteria there is always substrate to grow on Gerard

Hi Ted,I have been informed to take probiotics as I am on sulfasalazine .Taking sulfasalazine can lead to an increased candida colony over time ,so the probiotics act as a competitor to candida and to anything else? Regards ,Tim Gould.

Hi Tim (excellent name),
That may be a good plan, just ensure it is a quality probiotic. Sulfa does act in part as an antibiotic and can wipe out bacteria with the gut. Therefore, this allows the candida an opportunity to grab a foothold in the gut.
I know that I had a slight yellowing on my bit toe that may be an indication of candidas (I took azulfadine/sulfasalazine for 6 yrs prior to liver issues). Mine has since disappeared with NSD/LSD and probiotic use.
You should look into the azulfadine vs the sulfasalazine (this is the enteric coated equivalent). I believe it works better since more of the med. remains intact until it gets to intestines. Also helps alleviate gas if you are having issues with that.
One last item, sulfa/azulfadine causes a defiency in folic acid, you may want to look into a supplement.
Take care,
Tim
