I wish I didn't have to write this post but I do, and it's with a very heavy heart. Our dear friend and fellow AsKicker Linda passed away on Tues., July 8th. I spoke with her son last night, and he said that her condition had worsened over the weekend and she was in a lot of pain, so hard as it is to accept, this is better for Linda than living with no quality of life aside from pain.

If anyone here would like to send a donation in Linda's memory these two places were suggested by her son.

Hospice - Great Lakes, Erie
1527 Sassafras St.

Benedictine Sisters

This is so sad. I will miss her smiling face here. She always had a kind word to all those she posted to. But, yes, she is in a better place now....no more pain for Linda. She and her family will be in my prayers.

Cheryl, thanks for letting me know about Linda.

May God bless the sweetheart of KA!!

I'm stunned. So soon? That's just awful

I don't know what to say. But she will most certainly have a page in our memorial section, making her the third. That'll be three ASKickers too many in everyone's book I'm certain. Cherly, thanks for posting to let us know, it must have been an awfully difficult post to make, for you especially.

I think a group hug is called for.

I never met Linda but after reading her posts and how people were affected by her and her positive outlook on life I thought of her as an inspiration to those who took life for granted. I'm going to stop worrying over the little things as not many of us get to do everything we hope for in life.

My prayers and condolonces to her family and close friends.

Linda I only knew you for a short time but you were an amazing woman!! I will miss you here...

Love

I too wish to express my deepest condolences to Linda's family... and to all of us here that are feeling the pain of losing someone so very dear to us...

We all loved you so very much sweetie... and the only comfort we have is in knowing that you are truly in peace... and with the One that you prayed to so earnestly...

Love you...

Take Care

I am stunned. I am in tears. I lost a dear, dear friend. Her positive attitude and sweetness will be greatly missed here. I pray that peace, comfort, and God's love surround her friends and family at this time.

Hugs,

I have tried several times to respond to this news but everytime I try I cannot find the words that will do justice to Linda's memory. I read your post Cheryl and my heart just sank . KA just lost one of the sweetest, kindest and most caring of all. May her family find strength in all the memories and love she left behind.

We will all miss you Linda, thank you for being you

peace

Hi Cheryl

Even knowing what this post was going to say, It still is a very very hard thing to accept.
