Gosh, I don't know what to say - I am really shocked.
Linda the "Sweatheart " for sure.

I was priveliged to pm back and forwards a few times with Linda. We both took equal delight in our kitties and other of lifes little pleasures. Linda had a way of making a person feel comfortable and comforted.
I won't forget you Linda and I know that you are with us allways.

Sincere condolances to Linda's family.

Maggie

A fine lady,

I've always enjoyed reading her positive and inspiring posts made here at KA.
This is very sad news.
God bless you Linda.

Heavy sigh... sniff...

Thank you, Cheryl, for being a very brave bearer of this news. It's not easy, I'm sure.

I only knew Linda for a short time, and not very well. However, there were a few times we spoke, like in her last post. She was a very strong person, and a very kind soul.
I'm relieved for her that she is no longer in any pain, and at the same time, grief stricken for her family and loved ones.

My heart also breaks for everyone here at K.AS. To feel such sadness from the posts, I wish I could reach out and hold all of you, and take all the pain away. Miss Buggy, you brought tears to my eyes.... please let me know if you ever need to talk or anything, ok?

Condolences to Linda's family &
Love to all of my KickAS family~

This post really took me by surprise and I'm really lost for words. I'll just have to let my heart do the talking.
Linda was one of the dearest, sweetest people on this site. If anyone ever needed the definition of good people...Linda was it!
Her posts and replies were always filled with kindness...never having a bad thing to say about anyone...never having bad word to say period until the bad word came along that took her life.
She brought so much good to KA and I can't even touch upon how much she will be missed here.
Whenever I thought about the good in KA, Linda automatically came to mind. She was and is what KA is about... smiles, support, love, generosity...I could go on and on. And if we ever start to forget why we're here, all we have to do is go back to Linda's posts and I'm sure we'll be reminded of not only the why, but the how...how to be while we're here.
Like everyone else here I have prayed and prayed for Linda's recovery, because I am a big believer in prayer. But I know God has his reasons sometimes for not answering them, and the only thing that comes to mind right now is...
She already made KA and this world a more beauitful place and it was time she do the same for heaven!

We love you Linda!

Lisa

Cheryl, I am sure it was very hard for you to write this post, but thank you for letting us know. We at least have the comfort of knowing that a very dear friend and sister of ours is out of pain and is at peace. Hugs to you!

Echoing the sentiments of others this news just knots up my insides. Someone said, Damn and someone else said its just not fair.

It feels odd to tell Linda she will be missed since those words will never end up where I want them--- on her computer monitor. In any event, Linda I'm glad I had the opportunity to know you and hope some of your grace and kindness rubbed off on me.

I hope the universe is providing you with a better place.

Good bye and thank you for your friendship.

I've been re-reading this post since it appeared, and I just don't even know where to start. I must admit, there have been more than a few tears on this side of my computer monitor. Linda and her never-failing presence will be missed by all who had the opportunity to know her, but she is no longer in pain. I can't stop thinking the card I put in the mail Tuesday will only add another sting to the pain I know her family is feeling. They are in my thoughts.
