Hello everyone,

I used to be on this board quite a bit a couple of years ago.
I wonder if many people who were here then are still here now?
Anyone remember me? Boel - the essential oil user?
(I see my story is still in the "stories" section of the site,
although my profile was gone and I had to create a new
membership)

Anyway, I have been doing really well and so, being a disloyal
gal, I haven't been here much :)

Recently I did something foolish, which caused a major flareup,
but I got over it pretty quickly all things considered.

I am a strong believer in alternatives - for AS or any other
health condition, so I thought I'd check in and see what new
things might be used by all of you these days.

Haven't had much time to explore messages yet, but I'll be back
to browse over the next few days I am sure.

Boel

Hi there, welcome back (if you'll excuse the pun). Looking forward to hearing from another POV on the alternatives route.

Hugs,

Kat

Welcome back,
The old site was still up last year, and had an archive of the old posts... looks like it has been taken down!

Tell us about yourself ! What caused you to flair? How do you manage your AS? diet?

Just read your "AS Kicker Story", you will have to tell us all about the essential oils you use!! I am keen to hear which ones you are using.

I have virtually no idea about essential oils. I used not to put much stock in aroma therapy either.. until my partner gave me a massage with Lavender oil, and I slept like a log despite still being in pain. I have to say that I think it must be better than any sedative ..

I have heard that essential oils carry oxygen with them. Tie's in with this guys theory on degenerative disease - where poor elimination of carbon-dioxide from the blood leads to acidic conditions and damage :
