Anyone get aches and pains during the cold weather? I have been doing awesome through this entire year, up until a few days ago.. I am sure I will come around but the cold screws me up!!!

For me it's not necessarily the cold, but I can tell you a day (or two) before it rains! I guess it's the change in barametric pressure that I don't adjust to quick enough, I get pain and more stiffness. Of course, for me, nothing has followed the 'stereotypical symptoms', but then again, I've never been 'normal'.

I can't seem to make any correlation between weather and AS pains. This summer was the hottest in 100 years here and my pains were basically the same as this snowy winter is so far. So go figure??? It is hard to make any sense of this AS pain?

I hope you don't suffer too much more over the winter.

Hi Damian,

Cold does not seem to bother me... but when I lived in the wintery states, I hated ice on the side walks. Put extra stress on my hips it seemed since I tried to walk over it so gingerly.

Take care,

Tim

Hi! I don't like being too hot or too cold. It's about 20 degrees today - that's too cold. We lived in Montana for a while where the wind chill could get to 70 degrees below zero - that was way too cold. I couldn't even breathe. Love - Helen

Yup, that's why I wimped out and moved to the coast! And even so, I have a passionate love affair with my hot tub. (I know, too much information...!)

We had 18 inches of snow( 45cm) here over the weekend...there's a fory year old woman who lives
with her mother in an apartment upstairs; well she knocked on my door yesterday and asked if
she could shovel my car out for me..........................gosh. I must be getting decrepit.
