Heck, I'm proud that you chose mine to hijack:)

Let's see...this thread talks about being deployed to the middle east, Tae Kwon Do, golf, over-doing and the pain it causes...and love. Busy little thread!

I Love It!

Pete

Hey Sinta:

Just wanted to say thank you for thinking this a remarkable thread... And thank you as well for your well wishes.

I replied to a question of yours back in October in the WF, might be worth a reread .

Many hugs,
Jeanna

Pete,

In my youth I was a professional soldier, and I would have accepted or even welcomed such posting as part of the job.

As a parent being older and balder I can certainly appreciate your concerns about a posting to such a zone. My poor mum had 3 of us in the forces, it is only now I can understand the worry that this caused.

Hope your son has a very boring and uneventful tour!

David

Hi Maggie,

Sorry to have -ed you

It's that age old story I suppose....

Two people, unhappy and lonely in their own relationships, meet and fall in love. They try to do the 'right' thing, but love is just too powerful and the question of what actually is the 'right' thing rings round and round their heads. Eventually, they surrender to the inevitable, they go through painful separations, and they make plans to start a new and happy life... Together

Trees?

Manitoba trees are called saplings in British Columbia.

Sorry, couldn't resist.

I haven't seen any trace of Ray for well over a month. Has anyone heard from him lately?

Hope he is well and just enjoying life to the full.

Hi there George,

I heard from Ray by email on the 22nd Feb. Nothing since though. Hope he's doing OK so we can still meet (in a little over 3 weeks).

On checking, it looks like briefly he popped into KA on the 29th, so that's a good sign :)
