If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Should I offer my condolences or congratulations this morning? Don't mean to sound flip, but I really don't know what to say, or who to say it to. Many hugs, Kat "A life lived in fear is a life half lived." - Strictly Ballroom

Hey Kat,
You can say it today after 1pm EST, Kerry is going to concede at that time. Can't believe I stayed up all night again counting in coming votes in Ohio, Iowa, Wis, NM, and Nev. Then Edwards came out to make his speak about they were going to make sure everything was counted with so many Bush votes again in Ohio. I think Bush woud have concede early this am if it had been Kerry votes instead. Just glad that part is over and TV will get back to normal withut all the polotics every 10 minutes.

Yeah, but I still don't know what I'm supposed to say. As for your last point about Bush conceding earlier than Kerry has, considering that Bush announced (and I heard at 7:30 this morning) that he was going to announce victory this afternoon regardless of whether or not Kerry had conceded (which means that had there been a question on the validity of the count again this time, he would have been pulling one over on the American public), I have to question your conclusion on that. I am soooo sick of political ads and political Party's calling me at all hours to push their agenda. That is all I have to say, as this is not the place for political views and debate because it only causes problems on this site. Lets just agree to try and get along better than we have in the past in America and around the World.

I always hate to get into politics but for me personally it would be Congratulations. :o) I am just thankful we live in a country where can vote. It thrilled my heart to watch people care enough to stand in line to cast their vote and to know that each vote is very important. We know we all want the very best for our nation; we may just see the way to get there differently but we are united!

I agree about the phone calls, been wondering how after we just passed the tele-marketing no call list no one would call with ads. Then for a week that was what we were getting from the poloticians.
Kat there wasn't that much of a question in or about the count I think he just felt Ohio was closer than it wasand jumped the gun before all the results were in. No another Florida recount this time. Plus two small counties in Iowa machines broke down so they had to be counted today. I haven't watched an election in years but felt last nights went good and until the last few states and everythings slowed down waiting

Political organizations, not-for-profit agencies and vendors you have an account with are exempt from the DNC list.

Hey Ian,
I remember the exemptions, think whe I thought about it after the law went into effect I was thinking more on the lines of local govenment bodies and not from local, state and the feds. I got two calls from Dale Eardhardt Jr. three senators, one from Arnold "I'll be back" Schwarzenegger, John Edwards and the Bush campaign all just on Saturday. I wouldn't have minded if someone was on the other end to talk to instead of the recording to listen to.

Brent, last time I was up at Lori's her phone was constantly ringing with the political stuff. It would drive me nuts. I don't have a land-line, I just use my cell-phone. Ian Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy. --Benjamin Franklin

It's Ok, Kat:
I don't think that most of us really know how to feel about this election, but congratulations are in order because it is finally over--and without much bloodshed, too!
Best to You, John
