Hey Charles,

I kust read your profile and see you live in NC also. I thought I was the only one here from NC. I live nine miles east of the NC State Zoo right off of Hwy 64 so if you ever get up this way let me know and maybe we can have lunch.

Hi Lisa,

Welcome! I have been gone for awhile because my computer has been broken, but now that I am back, it is so nice to read everyone's posts and know I am not alone. I know how you feel about being sad inside. I deal with it everyday. But I have to take care of my 2 kids and they make my life so meaningful. Still, it's hard. But this has taught me to count my blessings and appreciate the little things of life. Like it is a major accomplishment for me to walk upstairs and put my kids to bed every nite yet it is so rewarding!!!!
Where are you from in ga? My husband is from ga. Go dawgs!!!!

Take care of yourself and again, welcome, to a great place!
Maureen

Hi Miss Lisa, Welcome to kickas!
My neck is completely fused too. It's a horrible thing to have happen, isn't it? Driving is hard to do, but it still can be done. I rarely drive anymore though. I haven't been able to move my neck in 5 years, give or take. It takes time to adjust to your necks fixed position, but that will come in time. I sometimes get depressed about it too, so I will find something to take my mind off of it for a while. Meeting people with AS has helped me with alot of issues during the past few years, because it helped me fully understand what my body is going through. Coming to KickAS was my biggest step towards KickinAS because without the people here, I wouldn't know what to do. So you have certainly found the right place. Like the others said, If you have any questions that have been on your mind, feel free to ask away on the forum. If you need to speak to someone about something more personal, you could also send someone a private message.

Take care,
James.
