If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Say you've got a very busy day going on and you don't have time to work out or do your usual exercises, but you're really suffering and know you need to do SOMETHING besides take another pain pill. If you could only make time to do one exercise, what would it be?
Please describe and include the beneficial amount of time required to fix your problem with this exercise, be it holding a particular stretch for 3 times to the count of 20 or doing 3 repetitions of 10, whatever it is, what works for you?
Thanks in advance, Sigrid

Hi Sigrid, I have small hand weights and leg weights at my desk. So whenever I'm setting here at the computer I put on my leg weights and do leg lifts. And I also try to use the hand weights as much as I can. This helps a little, but I do try to make time to swim. That seems to help the most.
Take care, Debora

OC... i run into this problem a lot... even if i walk slowly, i walk to my mailbox and back (about 60 yards). i do the same when i have a panic attack. it's not a cure, but always seems to help at least a little. gentle hugs, teddi
keep smiling... it matters!
FYI-Because of its literal definition ("fear of the marketplace"), agoraphobia is often misunderstood as a fear of crowds or a fear of open spaces. The clinical definition of agoraphobia is a fear of situations or places "from which escape might be difficult (or embarrassing) or in which help may not be available in the event" of a panic attack.

Sigrid, aloha with no time and poor motivation... 1. lie flat on floor on back...pull knees to chest, hold knees with hands, pull to stretch...DON'T ROLL back and forth...10x 2. lie flat on floor on back...tense abdominable muscles and try to push back flat onto the floor...10x 3. stand upright and shrug shoulders in circle...a scruntch...count to thirty all stretches...do it twice in 10 minutes...no impact. loosening the stuff up seems to help the most. all the best aloha Ben

I usually do some yoga, help to stretch things out. Also, I try to lie flat on my stomach for a couple of minutes.

I'm starting to walk a lot more than ever before. Walking over to the shopping centre (almost a mile) to get a few items is starting to be a habit now and I get to talk to the neighbours along the way.
I need to do this as I know my abilty to walk is getting worse over the last few years.

Lately I have been going on bike rides. With the kids just learning how to ride without training wheels they really enjoy this. So to please them and get some exercise we go on a bike ride nearly daily.

Hey George, Out this way in the big city, it's tough to chat with folks along the way. Too busy rushing here and there at great distances. It's really good for the soul to spend our precious time chatting with people. Investing ourselves in their lives. They're the best things God ever created! I'm glad to work in a dental office as I do (part-time). A big part of my job involves helping people be at ease in a stressful environment. I had the privilege to speak with one of our more elderly patients today, just chatted a few minutes really, and she actually thanked me for spending a few minutes chatting with her and breaking the monotony of her day, seeing how she's shut in with this good old Toronto humidity.
Blessings, Sigrid
